Long Exposures
For these photos I took inspiration from photos that I had seen in a magazine displaying the winner of a photography competition. The photo was a long exposure of the stars. This intrigued me leading me to search up how to actually take these types of photos myself, I realised I couldn’t do them of the stars because I couldn’t see them and I didn’t have the time. So, I had the idea to go to Westminster and try it on the London Eye. My intention at first was to actually take them during the day and have it so the London Eye looking like a big circle in the middle of the city, however, I got there too late so I worked with that. I used a tripod, because otherwise the photos would be blurry, and took photos of the Thames, cars going past on the bridge and, of course, the London Eye. On the way home, I accidentally took a photo and it turned out like a bunch of drawn lines, so I carried on trying them photos out on the way back.
